Timothy Haygood

Timothy R. Haygood, 51, of Streator passed away at 5:33 AM Thursday (July 5, 2018) at his residence.

A visitation will be held from Noon until 2 PM Saturday (July 14, 2018) at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Rev. Rodney Kreier will officiate.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

He was born on September 13, 1966 in Oaklawn, IL to Paul & Betty (Churchhill) Haygood.  He married the former Patricia M. Solasberry on November 27, 1985 in Marinette, WI.  She survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Heather Haygood of Streator; 3 grandchildren:  Lillianna & Trinity Negray and Addison Hert; sisters:  Pamela Griffin of Oaklawn, Linda (Grant) Newlin of Palm Coast, FL, Paula (Patrick) Casssidy of Palm Coast, FL and Shannon McGinnis of Oaklawn;; brothers:  Brian Haygood of Oaklawn and Paul and Jimmy Haygood of Biloxi, Miss.; nephews:  Alan Haygood II of Ottawa, John (Lisa) Haygood of Hennepin, Joseph Haygood of Columbia, KY, Josh Elder of Oaklawn and Jason Ayersman of Muskegon, MI; a niece:  Brittany Haygood of Streator and a sister in law:  Judy Haygood of Columbia, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Sean Reed Haygood and a brother, Alan Haygood.

He attended Kaskaskia Community College in Centralia and was a self employed finished carpenter.

He belonged to a pool league and enjoyed camping, woodworking, the outdoors, mushroom hunting and was a fantastic grandpa.
