Thomas Hamrick

Thomas F. Hamrick, 70 of Streator passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at his residence.

He was born May 11, 1950 in Streator, a son of Joseph P. and Lucille G. (Kosur) Hamrick.  He attended the Streator schools and graduated Streator High School in 1968.  He graduated from IVCC with an Associates in Applied Science in Mechanical Technical Production. He had worked for Harvest Bakery and then Steve’s Bakery.  He later went to work at Owens Illinois and retired from Caterpillar.

Thomas was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish.

He is survived by a sister, Jane (David) Kewley of Manville; a brother, Tim Hamrick of Streator; a niece, Debbie (Greg) Spangler; two nephews, Jim (Anne) Hamrick and Sean Kewley; 7 great nieces and nephews; and one great great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Patrick J. Hamrick.

A cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date with inurnment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Streator.
