Thelda Schell

STREATOR-  Thelda R. Schell 100 of  Streator, died Tuesday morning (Nov. 13, 2012).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. Roger Davis, officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Streator.
Mrs. Schell was born Sept. 20, 1912 in Bible Grove IL, the daughter of George and Nellie (Winterrowd) Baker. She married Ogle Schell, Dec. 23, 1931 in Ottawa. He preceded her in death Aug. 8, 1968.
Thelda had been employed at Owens-Illinois Glass Co., Streator and at Motorola, Pontiac. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Streator and had taught Sunday school there.
She is survived by two daughters, Rita (Ronald) Ward and Donna (Robert) Arroyo, both of Streator, three sons, Donald (Dorothy) Schell, Pontiac, Roger (Joyce) Schell and Larry (Nancy) Schell both of Streator, thirteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, fifteen great great grandchildren and one sister, Irene Gregory, Cornell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Roy Kenneth Schell, two sisters, Ruby Edmonds and Clara Marie Baker and two brothers, Delbert and Donald Baker.
Pallbearers will be Byron, Barry, Curt and Shawn Schell, Michael Arroyo, Brenton and Johnny Ward and Jacob Schmitt.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nazarene.
