Suzette Simpson, 83 of Streator passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Pavilion of Ottawa.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator. Funeral Services will start at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Suzette was born on December 3, 1942 in Seneca, a daughter of Edward H. and Susan (Stavar) Miller. She married Theodore “Ted” Simpson on March 26, 1960 at St. Patrick’s Church in Seneca.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; a son, Jeffrey Todd (Roberta) Simpson of Streator; along with three sets of five generations and one set of four generations. Also surviving is a sister, Beverly Ehret of Seneca; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, T. Kirk Simpson of Streator, Theresa “Terri” Horton of Grand Junction, CO, and Tad Simpson of Ottawa; two brothers, Edward S. Miller and R. Gerald Miller; and two sisters, Catherine Carver and Gaylene Cain.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pavilion of Ottawa.
