Shirley Mae Smith

Shirley Mae Smith, 80, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Ottawa Pavilion.

Shirley was born August 15, 1943, a daughter of Leonard Donald and Clara (McGee) Smith. 

She is survived by a brother, Donald McGee; grandchildren, Chelsea (Brad) Greer, Kelly (Chris) Schaibley, and Raelyn Meisel; great grandchildren, Ellianna & Posey Schaibley, and Annalisa Greer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gloria Meisel; and many sisters and brothers.

Visitation will bel held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Christ Community Church, 807 LaSalle St, Ottawa, IL with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM. Katie Morris will officiate. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea Greer, to be used for final expenses.
