Sherry Tunget

STREATOR-  Sherry A. Tunget 64 of Streator died Monday morning (Jan. 28, 2013) at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. Bill Niebuhr, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tunget was born Aug. 7, 1948 in Streator the daughter of Arnold and Harriet (Poundstone) LaVelle. She married Donald Tunget Sept. 1, 1965 in Ottawa. He survives.
Sherry had been a private caregiver in Streator many years. She attended Streator schools.
She is survived by her husband Don, four daughters, Becky (William Spraggon) Tunget, Jennifer (Harry) Smith III and Regina (Jason Mounce) Taylor all of Streator, Shawna Tunget, Granville, one son, Billy Tunget, Granville, sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three sisters, Phyllis (John) Dutko, Christiana, Tennessee, Joanne (Jimmie) Toothman, E. Peoria and Janie Flanery, Pontiac, two Brothers, Owen (Sandy) LaVelle, Apache Junction, Arizona and Frank “Berk” LaVelle, Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Elizabeth LaVelle and brothers, Arnold and Dwayne LaVelle and Jim Alderson.
