Sharon Smith

STREATOR-  Sharon M. Smith 54 of rural Streator died Friday evening (May 29, 2015) at her home.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday (June 6, 2015) at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Braidwood. Cremation rites have been accorded. Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 2, 1960 in Blue Island, the daughter of Ray and Peggy (Senney) Sweetie. She married Michael Smith in 1978 in Blue Island. He survives.
Sharon had been employed at Clover Technologies, Ottawa for the past 11 years. She attended Calumet Park grade schools and was a graduate of Eisenhower High School, Blue Island, class of 1978.
She is survived by her husband, Mike, one son, Raymond Smith, rural Streator, one stepson, Mike (Tracy) Smith, Ottawa, seven grandchildren, brothers, James (Marjorie) Grande, Midlothian, John (Beverly) Grande, Tinley Park, James Sweetie, Wilmington, Dean (Elaine) Grande, Oak Forest, William (Adra) Sweetie, Plainfield and Patrick (Kim) Sweetie, Manteno.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother Virginia, one son, Perry Michael Smith and a brother, Robert Sweetie.
