Shane K. Stevens

Shane K. Stevens, 27 of Streator passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at his home.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator.  A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, Streator.  Interment of ashes will follow the memorial service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Shane was born May 16, 1995, in Streator, the son of Kelly P. and Tammy J. (Glass) Stevens.

He is survived by his father, Kelly Stevens; his mother, Tammy (and her fiancé) Stevens; a great grandmother, Josie Jebe; a sister, Samantha Stevens; and his boyfriend, Dan Meredydd, all of Streator.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and an aunt.

Shane loved working on cars and trucks and liked his guns and fireworks.  He was a soft-hearted caring person.  He lived life to its fullest and wasn’t afraid to be himself.  He also enjoyed playing with RC cars with his sister.  Shane will be sadly missed by his cat, Queen.
