Sara "Sally" Dudak

Sara J. “Sally” Dudak, 67, of Streator passed away at 5:00 PM Thursday (January 26, 2017) at Heritage Health in Streator.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Monday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.  There will be no service.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.

She was born on October 28, 1949 in Ottawa to Stanley & Lois (Lindermann) Wielgopolan.

She is survived by two daughters:  Stephanie (Kevin) Reed of Streator and Nicole (Rob) Gass of Streator;  5 grandchildren:  Mandi Reed, Darin (Katie) Reed, Kyle Reed, Brandon (Kayla) Gass and Sarah Gass. 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters:  Kathy (Dave) Beaver of Mattoon and Marianne Wielgopolan of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Katelin Gotch and two brothers:  Anthony “Wiggy” and Jim Wielgopolan.

She graduated from Ottawa High School and had worked at Thorton’s Gas Station in Streator.

She loved her grandchildren, loved to be on the river, crafts, antiques, shopping with friends, playing cards and having lunch with her grandkids.
