Sandra J. Hudachko

Sandra J. Hudachko, 85 of Cadiz, KY formerly of Streator, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at her residence in Cadiz, KY.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator is entrusted with arrangements.

Sandi was born January 27, 1941 in Galion, OH, a daughter of Don and Yvonne (Metzger) Halbert. She married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Hudachko, in 1963 in Carmel, IN. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2019.

She is survived by two children, Todd (Tana) Hudachko of Indianapolis, IN and Tracy Staggers of Kent, WA; and four grandchildren, Katie (Ben) Himebaugh, Kara Hudachko, Madison Staggers, and Mia Staggers.

Sandy was a graduate of Galion Twp High School and Butler University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. Her passion for the arts shaped her life and inspired countless others. She owned and taught at Sandra’s School of Dance in Streator, where she shared her love of movement and creativity with generations of students. She also was a choreographer and an actress at Engle Lane Theater and had served on its board for many years.

Sandi’s creativity extended beyond the stage. After retiring to Lake Barkley in Kentucky, she embraced painting and drawing, finding joy in capturing beauty through her own artistic lens. Her home reflected her vibrant spirit – a place she loved and filled with color and warmth.

Above all, Sandi was fiercely devoted to her family. She was a constant source of strength and encouragement. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the artistic passion she shared generously.
