Robert "Rob" Dean Smith, 68, of Streator passed away at 2:05 AM Tuesday (June 4, 2019) at his residence.
Cremation rites will be accorded. The Hagi & Baker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born April 8, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Nowland & Laverne (Wilczynski) Smith.
He is survived by a son, Zachary Smith of Plymouth, MN; a granddaughter, Maylee Smith; 3 sisters: Judy (Bruce) Goodman of Streator, Linda Kaufman of Calumet City and Lori (Mark) Irving of Frankfort; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Suzanne Wiedder, Willliam Smith and Deborah McCabb.
He graduated from Thornridge High School in Dolton.
He owned and operated a Truck Driving Company.
