Robert "Bob" Hyduk

Robert “Bob” P. Hyduk, 78, of Streator and formerly of Belvidere, passed away at 11:40 PM Monday (October 10, 2016) at Heritage Health in Streator.

A visitation will be held from 10-10:30 AM Thursday at the Hagi Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home.  Rev. John Gutz of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate.  Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Streator.

He was born June 4, 1938 in Streator to George & Elizabeth (Plesko) Hyduk.

He is survived by a brother, George L. (Patricia) Hyduk of Streator; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

He attended Northern Illinois University and served in the United States Army.

He retired from Chrysler in Belvidere.

He had belonged to the Y.M.C.A., was a third degree black belt in Karate and was an excellent carver.
