Robert “Bob” D. Hagi, 80, of Ransom passed away at 9:33 AM Monday (November 13, 2017) at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Friday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.
Private funeral services will be held at the funeral home.  Rev. Scott Fulkerson will officiate.  Interment will be in Allen Cemetery in Ransom.
Pallbearers will be his sons:  Jamey, Scott and Kiley and grandsons:  Zach, Dalton, Kates, Benjamin and Karcin.
He was born on April 20, 1937 in Ransom to Frank R. & Ida (Geheber) Hagi Jr.  He married the former Linda Kates on September 23, 1959.  She survives.
He is also survived by his children:  Roberta “Bobbi” Keesee of Ransom, Jamey (Kim) Hagi of Ransom, Scott (Amy) Hagi of Streator and Kiley (Jody) Hagi of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren:  Misti (Joe) Cave, Ashli (Joe) Gilles, Zachary (Hannah) Keesee, Abbey Hagi, Dalton Hagi, Benjamin Hagi, Holly Hagi, Kates Hagi, Kerrigan Hagi and Karcin Hagi; 5 great grandchildren; sisters:  Phyllis Canale of Streator and Betty (James) Donovan of Dwight and a brother, Joe (Anita) Hoffman of Marseilles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank R. Hagi Jr; his mother, Ida Hoffman and a sister, Helen Morris.
He graduated from Dwight High School in 1956.  He had worked for Glenn McCann Company for 42 years.
Bob was a member of the Ransom United Methodist Church.  He liked to tinker around and work in his garage and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was a White Sox Baseball Fan, and a Chicago Bulls and Bears fan.
Memorials may be directed to his family to be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
