Robert McMullen

Robert “Bob” McMullen, 78 of Byron formerly of Streator, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL.
There will be a private family graveside service at the Dana Cemetery, Dana, IL.  The Hagi Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Serenity Hospice and Home, 1658 S IL RT 2, Oregon, IL. 61061.
Bob was born October 2, 1937 in Streator, the son of William and Emma (Elias) McMullen.  He married Carolyn A. Skaggs on January 10, 1959 in Streator.
He is survived by daughters, Marilyn Scott of Indianapolis, IN and Mary Williams of Tullahoma, TN, and a son, Scott (Laura) McMullen of Byron, IL.  Also surviving are four grandsons and four granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn in 2004, a son, Bobby in 1974, three brothers, Bill, Ray and George McMullen, and two sisters, Madelyn Crowder and Mildred McMullen.
Bob worked at Owens-Illinois as a supervisor of Flow Machine Repair for 40 years.
