Robert Hert

STREATOR-  Robert L. Hert 72 of Streator died Thursday morning (Aug. 2, 2012) at St. Mary’s Hospital, Streator.
Private family visitation will be Tuesday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with private graveside services at Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Friends and family are invited to offer condolences from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at the Knights of Columbus, Streator food will be provided at the K of C.
Mr. Hert was born Sept. 6, 1939 in Streator the son of Clyde and Bonnie (Ashley) Hert. He married Leorice “Lee” Hodges, Aug. 14, 1961 in Streator, she survives.
Bob had been employed at GE Plastics, Marseilles retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Streator and of the Baptist faith. He attended Woodland grade and high school.
He is survived by his wife Lee, one daughter, Lisa (Gary) Nolan, Marseilles, one son, Brian (Tammie) Hert, Denver CO, six grandchildren, Randee, Nicole and Dylan Hert, Kyler, Alek and Shelby Pellino and one great granddaughter Cambree Kraus, five sisters, Ann Dice, Tucson AZ, Bonnie (Gene) Tyler, Dickson, TN, Betty (Ronald) Sirotnak, Nancy (Bennett) Thomas and Kay (Stan) Larson all of Streator, four brothers, Jack (Charlotte) Hert, Larry Hert and Bill (Debbie) Hert all of Streator and Jerry (Sharon) Hert, Buckeye AZ, Bob is also survived by his dog Teddy, his faithful companion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ila Zurlinden and Ethel Jennings and two brothers, Kenneth and Jim Hert.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
