Richard Venegoni

BLACKSTONE-  Richard A. Venegoni 77 of rural Blackstone died Monday morning (July 29, 2013) at his home.
Private family funeral services will be held at San Carlo Cemetery, Herrin IL. Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Venegoni was born Mar. 1, 1936 in Herrin, the son of Joseph and Josephine (Bossie) Venegoni. He married Marlys Burnett, June 2, 1980 in Morris. She survives.
Richard had been employed as a pharmaceutical representative for thirty three years prior to his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith. He attended Herrin grade schools and was a graduate of Herrin High School, class of 1954, as well as a graduate of the University of Missouri.
He is survived by his wife Marlys, two daughters, Vicki Luster, Queen Creek AZ and Sherri (Tom) Plimmer, Chandler AZ, one son Joseph (Jane) Venegoni, San Tan Valley AZ, two step daughters, Cynthia (Sam) Laboi, Copper Canyon TX and Denise Townsend, Middletown RI, two step sons, Daniel (Sue) Fowle, Gainesville GA and Douglas (Meifei) Fowle, San Ramon CA, twelve grandchildren and one great grandson also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
