Regina Hockett

Regina “Reggie” Lynn Hockett, 62, of Streator passed away at 11:55 AM Wednesday (December 6, 2017) at the home of her daughter.

A visitation will be held from 3-5 PM Saturday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 5 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Rev. Scott Fulkerson will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

She was born on November 1, 1955 in Streator to Merlin & Suzanne (Beltz) VanLaningham.  She was formerly married to Rudy Hockett.

She is survived by her children:  Gina Hawkins-Vice of Streator, Jamie (Kevin) Wonders of Streator, Jennifer (Darold) Gazza of Amboy, and Joe (Dawn) Hockett of Streator;  grandchildren:  Amber Taylor, Jacob Vice, Zachary Wonders, Carrie Reese, C.J. & Bradley Gazza, Shawna, Brianna and Lane Elmore; 4 great grandchildren and her former husband of Clearwater, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Adam Gazza and a brother, Ronald VanLaningham.

She graduated from Streator Township High School and had worked for First Student as a Bus driver for over 25 years.

She was a former member of the Streator Eagles Club and the American Legion Womens Auxillary.  She loved to play Bingo and Euchre.  She was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and Elvis.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dogs.
