Raymond S. Scott

Raymond S. “Ray Dog” Scott, 66 of Streator passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Marseilles, IL.

 He was born February 13, 1958 in Streator, a son of Percy Lee and Nina Mae (McMiller) Scott. He is survived by two daughters, Jasmine Scott of Ottawa and Sierra Scott of Ogelsby; two sons, Jerome Scott of Tucson, AZ and Denzel Oppy of Earlville; his significant other, Michele Barry Wade of Streator; and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Nina Graham of Portland, OR, Mary Tyler of Streator, Inez Scott of Texas and Rosemary Lenac of Peoria; and three brothers, Percy Scott Jr. and Edmund Scott, both of Streator, and James Scott of Toluca.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mark Jackson; a grandson, RJ Fisher; a sister, Vera Scott; and two brothers, Roy Scott and Brian Allen Scott.

 A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
