Priscilla D. "Sil" Amell

Priscilla D. "Sil" Amell, 97 of Streator passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her residence.

 Her funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator, with Pastor Bill Clark officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of service 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

 Pricilla was born December 6, 1926 in Streator, a daughter of Herbert and Sabina (Hall) Overocker. She married Louis Amell Jr. on May 29, 1947 in Streator. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1999.

 She is survived by two daughters, Charlene (Jack) O’Kraski of Normal and Sheila (Barry) Bellott of Aurora; three sons, Tim Amell of Streator, Jeff (Terrie) Amell of Allen, TX and Louis “Butch” Amell of Las Vegas, NV; 9 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Cliff (Kim) Overocker and Rick (Kay) Overocker, both of Streator.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Art, Arnold, Dave and Tom; three sisters, Judy Madara, Beverly Willis, and Sandra Overocker; and 2 grandchildren.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
