Phyllis Bass

SPRINGFIELD- Phyllis Ann Bass 66 formerly of Springfield died Friday (Sept. 20, 2013) at her sister’s home in Streator IL.
Family funeral services will be held at a later date in Mexico Missouri. Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bass was born Mar. 30, 1947 in Mexico MO the daughter of Ralph and Betty (Baysinger) Shoemaker.
Phyllis had been employed at several Springfield area restaurants’. She was a good cook and an avid gardener and canner. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Ebersohl and Lori Hassard, one son Delmer Grindstaff, three grandchildren, Lindsey Zenner, Chris and Mike Ebersohl all of Staunton, three sisters, Cheryl O’Handley, Toronto Canada, Debbie Kleck, Kansas City MO and Kathy Zimmerman, Streator, two brothers, Gary Littrell, Orange City FL and Rick Littrell, Toronto Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Stacy Grindstaff and one brother, Danny Ray Littrell.
