Patricia I. Mosell

Patricia I. Mosell, 88 of Streator passed away Saturday evening (May 8, 2021) at Heritage Health, Streator.

She was born December 20, 1932 in Streator, a daughter of Edward and Ruby (Knutson) Slattery.  She married Edward Lee Mosell on December 2, 1950 at St. Anthony’s Church, in Streator and spent 70 years of marriage together.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; their children, Kathleen (Jim) Sherwood of Streator, Daniel Mosell of Clinton, IA, Brenda (Bob) Stimpert, Russell Mosell and Pam Mosell all of Streator; nine grandchildren, Tanya, Travis, Scott, April, Leah, Alexis, David, Richie and Sheri; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Mosell; two grandchildren, Randy Mosell Jr. and Jennifer Hanba; and three sisters, Marjorie Osborn, Gloria Stevens, and Ester Minder.

Patricia was of the Catholic Faith.  She went to St. Anthony’s Grade School and Graduated from Streator High School in 1950.  She was a member of various card clubs with her old high school friends.

Her funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with Deacon Robb Caputo officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.  Pallbearers will be Russell Mosell, Daniel Mosell, Richie Mosell, Bob Stimpert, Cheech DeMarco and Craig Angelico.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service 1:00 PM Thursday at the memorial home.  Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, facial coverings are required, and social distancing standards will be followed.
