Ollie Griffin

Ollie Reece Griffin, 85, of North Carolina formerly of Wenona, passed away Thursday (September 21, 2017) at Novant Health Brusnwick Medical Center in Boliva, N.C.

Private Graveside services will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Streator, IL.  The Hagi & Baker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born August 22, 1932 in Randolf, MS to Robert and Lottie (Millican) Griffin.

He is survived by a sister, JoAnn Griffin of East Prairie, MO and his caretaker, Paula Kocek.  His lifetime partner was Hattie Henning, she preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Rebbeca (Becky) Griffin and Dolores (Dodie) Griffin, three brothers and two sisters.

He worked at Streator Drain Tile, Smith Douglas Fertilizer Plant and was a Woodland School Bus Driver for 23 years. He had been a member of Light House Church.
