N. Ann Werner

N. Ann Werner, 61, of rural Streator passed away at 3:43 PM Saturday (May 26, 2018) at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 Thursday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home and also from 10-11 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday at the funeral home.  Rev. Bill Callister of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will officiate.

Private Interment will be in the Grand Rapids Cemetery.  Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

She was born on September 25, 1956 in Bloomington, IL to Harold & Norma (Wedland) Crawford.  She married Phillip L. Werner on February 11, 1978 at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bloomington.  He survives.

She is also survived by her children:  Deborah Werner, David Werner and Robert Werner all of Streator and Kristina Werner of Champaign and her mother-in-law, Luceille Werner of Streator.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Vincent Werner.

She had been a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and graduated from El Paso High School in 1974.

Ann was an insurance agent and financial advisor.

“Ann was loved by those whose lives she touched in smallest and in the grandest of ways.

One of the most precious souls someone could ever meet was Ann. She was selfless, kind, and always doing for others, thinking of herself last.

Her unwavering devotion to her husband Phillip Werner, and four children Deborah, David, Robert, and Kristina Werner was the joy she lived for.

She will be missed beyond words.”

Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be designated at a later time.
