Myra Fogarty

Myra A. Fogarty, 95 of Streator passed away August 8, 2021 at Heritage Health in Streator.

Cremation rites will be accorded.   Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Myra was born November 7, 1925 near Leonore a daughter of George and Katherine Schinzel Pflibsen.  She married Joseph E. Fogarty on November 30, 1957 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Leonore.  He preceded her in death on April 6, 1994.

Surviving is a son, Robert (Cindy) Fogarty of Streator; two grandchildren, Marty (Grace) Fogarty of Tennessee and Darcy Fogarty of Washington State; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joe; a son, Joseph M. Fogarty; a brother, Floyd Pflibsen; and a sister, Antoinette Vogel.

Myra was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
