Matthew C. Brockhum

Matthew C. Brockhum, 39 of North Aurora, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at North Aurora Care Center.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator have been entrusted with arrangements.

Matthew was born October 23, 1986 in Gloversville, NY, a son of Michael R. and Barbara E. (Thompson) Brockhum Sr..

He is survived by his son, Jayden Brockhum of Arlington; his mother, Barbara Sieg of Arlington; his father, Michael Brockhum Sr. of Caroga Lake, NY; a brother, Aaron Brockhum; and his paternal grandmother, Betty Ann Meyers of Gloversville, NY. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Brockhum Jr.; his step-father, Eric Sieg; his maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandfather.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
