Mary Stansfield

STREATOR-  Mary Kay Stansfield 95 of Streator died Monday afternoon (April 20, 2015) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Streator with Rev. Jerry Haley, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday (April 27, 2015) at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Streator.
Mrs. Stansfield was born Nov. 6, 1919 in Eldorado IL, the daughter of William and Frieda (Kinsall) Phipps.
She married James Stansfield Sr. June 30, 1966 in Oneida NY. He survives.
Kay had been a school teacher with the Streator Elementary Schools for twenty two years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Bridge Club, Book Club and was an avid golfer. She attended Eldorado grade schools and was a graduate of Eldorado High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University.
She is survived by her husband Jim, one son, Wes Elder, Bonita Springs FL, one step daughter, Pam Jolly, Minonk, one step son, James (Becky) Stansfield Jr., Streator, thirteen grandchildren, Brad Elder, Jennifer (Bradley) Jensen, Angela (Michael) Woods, Chad (Brandi) Elder, Brian Elder, Dustin (Ashley) Jolly, Cassie Jolly, Michelle Stansfield, James Michael Stansfield, David (Buffy) Nicklin, Brian (Mary Jo) Nicklin, Denise (Dave) McDonald, and Traci Osborn, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step daughters, Patty Stansfield and Mary Lou Nicklin and one brother, Willard Phipps.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Jolly, James Michael Stansfield, Chad and Brian Elder, Chris Promenschenkel and Dave Gotch.
