Marissa Roberts

Marissa Sonya Roberts, 28, of Spring Valley, passed away at 7:30 PM Friday (April 5, 2019) at her residence.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3-4 PM Saturday at the Abundant Life Fellowship in LaSalle.  Memorial services will be held at 4 PM at the Church followed by a luncheon and further fellowship at the Core Café in Lasalle.

The Hagi & Baker Funeral Home in Streator is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born on July 19, 1990 in Chicago to Rodney & Christina (Padilla) Roberts.

She is survived by her children:  Isabella, Caleb and Amelia Roberts all of Spring Valley; her parents, Rodney (Christie) Roberts of Merrillville, IN, Christina Padilla of El Paso, TX; siblings:  Amanda (Christian Liss) Roberts of LaSalle, Leticia Roberts of Peru, Rodney Roberts Jr., of Peru, Alfonso Padilla of IL, Joshua Roberts of LaSalle, Ramon Mandujano of El Paso, TX, Giavanna Palmieri of El Paso, TX, Daniel Pequero of IN and Erika Camacho of IN; and her maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Ontiveros of El Paso, TX.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother Caroline Roberts.

She was a waitress at various restaurants and she also did home health care.

Marissa lived for her kids and would do anything for her family or anyone she knew.  She was very sarcastic and funny and loved by everyone she came into contact with.

Memorials may be directed to the family for her children.
