Marion Booker

STREATOR-  Marion V. Booker 69 of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, formerly of Streator died Feb. 13, 2013 in Florida.
Private funeral services were held at Riverview Cemetery. Cremation rites were accorded as per request and she was buried on her mother’s grave. Hagi Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Marion was born Nov. 20, 1943 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of Virgil and Mary (Krasnican) Kirkwood. She spent part of her childhood in Streator and in later years she moved to Florida where she met and married Harry Booker and that is where they made their home. Marion “Sis” loved animals and birds as did her family and loved the warmth of Florida along with the sunshine and sand.
She is survived by one aunt, Theresa K. Overocker, Streator along with numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother James Kirkwood as well as her grandparents, Andro and Maria Krasnican whom she loved dearly, along with many aunts and uncles.
