Marcia L. Henderson

Marcia L. Henderson, Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Streator, Illinois, on September 6, 1954, to Aldon and Dorothy Pat (Zebell) Turpin.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Aldon Turpin and mother, Dorothy Pat Miller, grandparents, Roy and Doris Zebell and Elzia and Maggie Turpin, brother, Allen Turpin, and father and mother-in-law, Maurice and Mary Henderson.

Marcia will be sadly missed by her surviving husband, Michael Henderson, daughters, Tracy (Doug) Stanley, of Henryetta, OK, Shannon Biehl, Las Vegas, NV, Sarah (Rose) Tyler, Streator, IL, and Tonya Stillwell, Bloomington, IL, and her brother, Michael Miller of Texas. She and Mike were also blessed by seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Marcia attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1972. She was a gentle soul who loved her family very much. Marcia was always working behind the scenes to make life better for individuals in need. While working for Jones Vargis law firm in Las Vegas, she received a Citizen’s Award from the city of Las Vegas for her volunteer services to the community. Her compassion for life and loving spirit will live in our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Streator and interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
