Lydia Wiemken

STREATOR-  Lydia Jean Wiemken 83 of Streator died Sunday evening (Aug. 18, 2013) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Streator with Rev. John Gutz, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wiemken was born May 18, 1930 in Streator the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Kolesar) Novak. She married Emerson Wiemken Dec. 30, 1950 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death Sept. 9, 2010.
Jean was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Eagles and American Legion Auxiliary. She attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1948.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie Russell, St. Petersburg FL, Lisa Wiemken, Chicago, one son Rick (Lisa) Wiemken, Pearl City HI, five grandchildren, Shay Russell, Emily and Pieter Wiemken all of St. Petersburg FL, Isabel and Max Wiemken, Pearl City HI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Tom Wiemken and ten brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
