STREATOR- Linda Kay Noon 60 of Streator died Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM Monday ay St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator with Monsignor Philip Halfacre, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with the Rosary recited at 6:30 PM Sunday. Burial will be in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Streator.
Miss Noon was born Nov. 20, 1951 in Streator the daughter of Donald H. and Tillie (Grzonka) Noon.
Linda had been employed as a supervisor at Streator Unlimited and in the X-Ray Department at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and currently a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1969. Linda was a volunteer at Camelot Terrace Nursing Home and had been active with Streator Youth. She also enjoyed embroidery, cross stitching and was an avid dog lover. Linda’s favorite pastime was talking on the phone with her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Tillie Noon, Streator, three sisters, Donna Jean Noon, Hanover, Marilyn (Jerry) Decker, Streator and Kathleen (Brian) Washko, Schaumburg, three brothers, Donald Mark Noon, Streator, David (Joan) Noon, Dubuque Iowa and John Noon, Hollywood FL, four nieces, Elizabeth Noon Shade, Amber Noon, Brittany and Stephanie Washko, two nephews, Ryan Noon and Christopher Washko.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Pallbearers will be brothers, Donald, David and John Noon, Brian Washko, Gordon Noon and John Bunn.
Memorials may be made to the Family or to the donor’s choice.
