Judith Glowicki

Judith Ann Glowicki, 72, of Streator passed away at 3:45 PM Wednesday (November 7, 2018) at her residence.

A visitation will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home and also from 9 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM Monday at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Streator.  Rev. Aaron Jackson will officiate.

Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be her grandchildren:  Ryan Glowicki, Alec Grabowski, Joslyn Grabowski, Jenna Grabowski, Lina Glowicki, Tai Glowicki and Bethany and John Glowicki.

She was born August 27, 1946 in Streator to Frank & Florabelle (Metcalf) Yedinak.  She was formerly married to William Glowicki whom she married May 14, 1967.  He survives.

She is survived by her children:  Kevin Glowicki of Hot Springs Village, Ark.,Sue (Steve) Grabowski of Streator, David Glowicki of Streator and Dan (Naoko) Glowicki of Corvallis, OR; 8 grandchildren and sisters:  Barbara Hamann, Linda (Kenneth) Abbott both of Streator and Sharon (Don Harden) Coop of Cornell.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She graduated from Streator Township High School and had worked as a secretary at St. Mary’s Hospital.

She had belonged to the Thursday Night Ladies Bowling league and New Beginnings Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher for many years.

She loved to cook, sew, garden and spending time with family.
