John Gaydos

John F. Gaydos, 70 of Toluca passed away Monday afternoon (January 4, 2021) at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is assisting the family with arrangements.

John was born April 20, 1950 in Streator, a son of John and Rosalie Rizzo Gaydos.  He married Gaile A. Lechner on December 18, 1982 in Toluca.  She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Rodger (Brandi) Burns Jr. of Wenona, John L. Gaydos of North Carolina, Jim Gaydos of Washington State, and Brad “Bruno” (Lisa) Burns of Toluca; and 9 grandchildren,  Taylor, Kaiden, Kalla, Myah, Kace and Flin Burns and Stile, Isabele and Zach Gaydos.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Gaydos.

John worked at Owens in Streator for over 42 years.
