Joan Klock Nathan

Joan Klock Nathan, 88 of Streator, IL passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Flanagan Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Joan was born April 17, 1933 in Lincoln, IL, a daughter of John G. and Floy (Hardin) Sinclair.  She grew up in Lincoln, Illinois and graduated from Lincoln Community High School.  She worked for over 40 years in Sales and Marketing, first in St. Louis and later in Chicago, Illinois.  At the time of her retirement she was a director for Bagcraft Corporation in Chicago.  After retirement she worked for 5 years as a radio talk show host on WSPL-AM in Streator, IL.

She was a member of Central Church of Christ, The Athene Study Group, Friends of The Library, and Streator Literary Club.

Joan Leaves behind her husband of over 30 years, Warren G. Nathan; three daughters, Trisha (Michael) Smutko, Judy Sabo, and Carole Coburn; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eva Mae Hoffert.

There will be no funeral per Joan’s wishes.  After cremation she will be buried in Riverview Cemetery in Streator.
