Jerry Newsome
Jerry Lee Newsome, 54, of Streator passed away at 12:45 PM Thursday (August 31, 2017) at his residence.
Private family services will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Hagi & Baker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrrangements.
He was born on May 25, 1963 in Chicago to Mearl Newsome & Lilly (Diamond) Smits.
He is survived by a daughter, Melony (Caleb) Anderson of Dixon; grandchildren: Alexis, Piper, Ben and Reagan. His father, Mearl (Joanne) Newsome of Kentucky; a sister, Sheila Kuhlemeyer of Streator; brothers, Roy “Jr” Alexander of Streator and Greg Newsome of Kentucky and his former wife, Lee Ann Newsome of Walnut.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a grandson Logan and a brother, Rob Stocksdale.
He had been employed by the Aurora Packing Company and had been a member of the Lowlyfe Motorcycle Club.
