Jeffrey A. Woodring

Jeffrey A. Woodring, 58, of Streator, IL passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Kane Cemetery, Kane, IL. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Jeffrey was born May 2, 1968 in Jerseyville, IL, a son of Samuel F. and Sharon J. (Price) Woodring.

He is survived by his father, Samuel Woodring of Medora, IL; his mother, Sharon Elmore of Streator, IL; two brothers, Sammy (Leta) Woodring and Danny Woodring, both of Jerseyville; and a sister-in-law, DeDe Woodring of Streator. Also surviving are 9 nieces and nephews, Sammy Woodring Jr., Brandy Patterson, Natasha O’Dell, Tina Woodring, Ricky Scoggins, Joshua Scoggins, Elizabeth Woodring, Brittany Woodring, and Amanda Woodring; and many great nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey had owned Prices Bakery and had worked at Bulldogs restaurant. He was known for his baking and especially his Thumbprint Cookies.

Jeffrey was a previous member of the Eagles Club in Streator. He was a big movie lover and was a carnival enthusiast. He loved to sit and watch the rides go up and being taken down.
