Jean Voytko

Jean L. Voytko, 87, of Streator passed away at 5:35 PM Thursday (December 15, 2016) at O.S.F. St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

A visitation will be held from 3-6 PM Sunday at the Hagi Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.  Her grandson, Rev. Paul Webster will officiate.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be grandsons:  James Voytko, Justin McCoy, Jeremy McCoy, Brian McCormick, Paul Webster and Justin Fink and son-in-law, Bob Noonan.

She was born June 30, 1929 in Wedron to Frank & Jeanette (Ingles) Ligori.  She married Steve Voytko Jr. on July 2, 1947 in Streator.  He preceded her in death on September 23, 2008.

She is survived by daughters:  Gloria (Robert) Noonan of Streator, Nancy (Rick) McCoy of Streator, Janet (Terry) Webster of Streator and a son, Michael (Vickie) Voytko of Streator; 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren; a sister, Delores “Dee” Tattersall of Streator; 2 brothers:  Venzeno “Jim” (Sharon) Ligori of Streator and Mitchell “Mick” (Sandi) Ligori of Streator and a sister in law:  Fran Ligori of Streator.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Thomas “Julio” Voytko; a granddaughter, Jenny Noonan; one sister:  Betty Holocker and a brother:  Clifford Ligori.

She attended Streator schools and had worked for Ligori Auto Wrecking, Rhodes Auto Sales, Steves Bakery and Voytko Trucking.

She was a former member of the Thousand Trails Campground.

She loved her family and loved camping.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
