Hunter Austin Wolfe, 17 of Streator passed away Monday July 17, 2017 in Streator.

Visitation will be Sunday (July 23, 2017) from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Hagi & Baker Funeral home, Streator. Additional visitation will be Monday (July 24, 2017) from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church, Streator with Funeral Services to follow at 11 a.m.  Rev. William Callister will officiate.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services with burial at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.  Hagi & Baker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Wolfe, Hannah Rambo, Zach Rambo, Hunter Lehmkuhl, Aaron Donahue, Daniel Gonzalez, Caleb Osborn, Bryce Peacher, Coltin Grace, Austin Jennings, Dylan Bultena, Kyle Schmitt, Vinny Foley and Cole Wheeler.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the SHS Football Team.

Hunter was born on September 24, 1999 in Streator to Erik "Bart" Wolfe and Nikki Rambo.

He is survived by his parents; Erik Bartholmew (Heather Kolesar) Wolfe of Streator and Nikki Lynn Rambo of Streator.  Also surviving are a brother; Hayden Richard Wolfe of Streator, his grandparents; Barbara Rambo, Charles R. (Kelly Peacher) Rambo and Paula (Max) Foltin all of Streator, Uncle; Craig (Allyson) Rambo of Streator, Aunt; Michelle (Josh) McKibben of Blackstone, Uncle John W. (Heather Wilson) Wolfe of Streator, Great Grandparents; William Wissen Sr. of Streator and Mary Lou Wissen of Streator, Cousins; Zachary A., Hannah N. and Emma M. Rambo all of Streator and Leigh C., Keira I. and Dallas T. Kmetz all of Blackstone and several other extended relatives.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather; Gerald A. Wolfe, Great grandparents; Richard (Laverne) Picha and Charles (Willetta) Rambo and an Uncle; Paul M. Wolfe in infancy.

Hunter just finished his Junior year at Streator Township High School.  As a child he played football with the Streator Youth Football League and was going to play for the Streator Bulldogs this fall, which would have been his fourth year playing high school football.

He worked as a warehouse associate for Luckey Transfer.  He loved anything to do with square body Chevy’s.

Hunter was larger than life, absolutely amazing and a best friend to all that knew him.  He loved his brother, his truck “Big Red” and his dogs. He loved spending time outside with his friends around a “small fire” he had built that would occasionally singe off his eyebrows.
