Hubert Szewczyk

STREATOR-  Hubert “Hubie” Szewczyk 68 of Streator died Wednesday morning (May 27, 2015) at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation, Streator.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. Larry Booze, officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday at Hagi Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Streator.
Mr. Szewczyk was born June 21, 1946 in Streator, the son of Bronislaw and Victoria (Matuszak) Szewczyk.
Hubert was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church and the Polish National Alliance, both of Streator. He attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator High School, class 1964.
He is survived by one sister, Helen Mitchell, Grand Rapids Michigan along with several nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leo Szewczyk.
