Harold D. Brogdon

Harold D. Brogdon, 86 of Streator passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home.

Harold was born December 16, 1935 in Ripley, TN, a son of Aulcy B. and Emma Sue (Glisson) Brogdon.  He married Genevieve “Jenny” Crook on March 4, 1960 in Ripley, TN.  She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Roy) Mounce of Manville and Dianne (Joe) Preston of Streator; three granddaughters, Stacey and Ali Mounce and Heather Blogg; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Walter (Betty) Brogdon of Ripley, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Aulcy Brogdon, Jr., Thomas Brogdon, Kenneth Brogdon, and Roger Brogdon; and a sister, Audrey Bombich.

Harold was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as 2^nd Class Petty Officer in the Navy.

He had worked for Teleweld, Inc. for over 37 years.

Cremation rites will be accorded and burial of ashes will be at a later date in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.  Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
