Greg Bogeart

Cary Greg Bogeart, 76, of Grandview, MO, formerly of Streator, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Village at Carrol Park in Grandview, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator with Pastor Curtis Starner officiating. Burial with military rites performed by the Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post 217 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1492 will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to services.

Greg was born March 7, 1950 in Port Townsend, Washington, a son of Edward W. and Bette A. (Gash) Bogeart Jr.

He is survived by his former wife, Tami Bogeart of Streator; a son, Colin Cary Bogeart of Streator; two daughters, Romi Bogeart of Streator and Jennifer Bogeart; a step-son, Brett Wyatt; and two grandchildren, Isabella Coss and Alexis Bogeart. Also surviving are two brothers, Lynn (Terri) of Independence, MO and Ron Bogeart of LaPlata, MO; a sister, Diana (Terry) Reynolds of Kirksville, MO; a sister-in-law, Linda Bogeart of Streator; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Doug Bogeart.

Greg received his education at La Plata High School in La Plata, Missouri. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971. Greg traveled around building water towers and welded for many companies.

Greg enjoyed his cars and loved playing with his children and grandchildren. He was a great dad and always considerate and caring. He was always there for you when you needed it. He was a believer in Christ.
