STREATOR- Gloria Stevens 78 a resident of Liberty Village, Streator, died Monday evening (Jan. 5, 2015) at her home.
Private family funeral services will be held at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator.
Mrs. Stevens was born Mar. 19, 1936 in Streator the daughter of Ed and Ruby (Knudson) Slattery. She married Marvin Stevens, Oct. 8, 1955 in Ottawa. He survives.
Gloria had been employed at St. Mary’s Hospital, Streator as a nurse’s aide and in housekeeping. She was of Catholic faith. Gloria attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1953.
She is survived by her husband Marvin, one daughter, Debra Stevens, Wilmington, three sons, Terry (Marie) Stevens, Ransom, Kelly Stevens, and Jeffry (Barb) Stevens both of Streator, six grandchildren, Lisa Taylor, Keith (Mindy) Stevens, Jenna (Jesse Nelson) Stevens, Samantha Stevens, Molly Stevens and Shane Stevens, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Patricia (Sonny) Mosell and Esther Minder both of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marjorie Osborn.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
