Gary Westrick

Gary W. Westrick, 58, of Streator passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at 8:26 AM Monday (October 31, 2016) at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 10 AM until Noon Saturday at the Hagi Funeral Home.   Memorial services will be held at Noon at the funeral home.  Rev. Rodney Kreier will officiate.

He was born May 3, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to Herman & Betty (Nodine) Westrick.  He married the former Joann Webster on May 3, 2003 in Ottawa.  She survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Arianna Westrick of Florida; a son Aadyn Westrick of Florida; daughters:  Ella Westrick and Emily Coombs, both of Streator; brothers:  Jim (Margie) Westrick of California, Dan (Steve) Westrick of Diamond, IL; a sister Chris (Ron Quigley) Fiedler of Willmington, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He had worked at R.R. Donnely in Dwight until becoming ill.

He loved sports, cartoons, fishing, gardening and he loved to live life to the fullest.

Memorials may be directed to Disabled Veterans or the charity of the donor’s choice.
