Eric "Rick" Anderson

Eric “Rick” E. Anderson, 58, of Streator passed away at 3:42 AM Sunday (June 5, 2017) at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A Memorial visitation will be held from 1-3 Thursday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.

There will be no funeral service.

He was born on April 23, 1959 in Streator to Virgil & Lois Jean (McCauley) Anderson.

He is survived by a son, Eric “Rick” E. Anderson II of Streator and a daughter, Jenny Anderson of Streator; 2 grandchildren:  Kendrick and Kamryn Anderson; his mother of Streator; 5 sisters:  Chris (Don) Defenbaugh of WI, Laura Anderson of Streator, Cindi Anderson of Streator Marcia (John) Hallam of Streator, Jaci Anderson of Virginia and a nephew, Dana Anderson of Streator.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Patrick Anderson.

He graduated from Streator Township High School in 1977.  He was a roofer by trade and was self employed.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.

He loved to fish and swim in the river.
