Eric Smith

Eric E. Smith, 28, of Streator passed away at 12:03 AM Monday (May 20, 2019) at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 1-3 PM Thursday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.  There will be no services.

He was born on August 21, 1990 in Streator to Charlie & Dawn (Osland) Smith.

Eric is survived by his parents of Streator; a sister, Ashley “Sis” Smith of Streator; 2 nieces:  Aleahya Alexander and Liana Scott; his paternal grandmother, Sue Evans of Streator; his maternal grandmother, Diane Osland of Streator; his paternal grandfather, Charles Smith of Streator; his maternal grandfather, Larry (Cheryl) Osland of Streator and a uncle Joshua (Ashley Loy) Evans of Streator.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Amber N. Smith and an uncle, John Evans.

Eric liked to play the guitar.
