Eric Reynolds

Eric Reynolds, 52 of Streator passed away Sunday (September 17, 2023) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Visitation for Eric will be Friday, September 22, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home in Streator.  Funeral Services will follow at 5 P.M. with Rev. Rodney Kreier officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.  Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Spear, Rick Richardson, Larry Rizzo and Brian Scowden. 

Eric was born on November 10, 1970, in Streator to Peggy and Larry Reynolds.  He was raised by his mother and stepfather Frank “Chip” Rizzo in Streator.  He married Cheri Pitstick on October 5, 2016 in Jamaica.  She survives in Streator.

He is also survived by his parents, Peggy and Frank “Chip” Rizzo of Streator; one son, Dillen Reynolds of Rock Falls; brothers, Larry Rizzo of Streator and Travis Reynolds of Dixon; his stepsiblings, Leah (Gary) Rudolph, Frank Joseph (Aslinn) Rizzo, James (Michelle) Vickers, Stephen (Andrea) Vickers, Rose (Michael) Milam and Christy (Mark) Richards; his mother and father in-law, Edwin and Bette Pitstick; sister-in-laws, Colette (Michael) Stemlau and Christine Watson; brother-in-law, Eric Pitstick; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and his twin brother.

Eric worked as a truck driver for D Construction and for the Illinois department of Transportation.  Eric graduated from Streator High School.
