Eric Pillash

Eric P. Pillash, 52, of Streator passed away at 4:00 PM Saturday (February 4, 2017) in Streator.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.  Rev. Scott Fulkerson will officiate.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

He was born on June 24, 1964 in Streator to Edward K. & Jeannie C. (Wierenga) Pillash.  He was formerly married to the former Amy Smith whom he married on October 29, 1988 at St. Stephens Church.  She survives in Peru.

He is also survived by two daughters:  Hannah (Andrew Marshall) Pillash and Carlye Pillash, both of Streator; his father Edward Pillash of Streator; sisters:  Linda (Ron) Guest of Long Point, Janice (Dennis) Henson of Channahon and Christine (Paul) Alles of Bridgewater, Mass and a brother, Mark (Kathy) Pillash of Piedmont, AL.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He graduated from St. Stephen’s Grade School and Woodland High School in 1982.  He also had attended Illinois State University.

He was working for Electrical Materials Company in Earlville.

Eric would do anything for anyone.  He was in a dart league, loved to fish, hunt, boat, go camping and loved his music.  He was also a great Trivia Pursuit Player.
