Elmer Russow

Elmer “Lee” Russow, 82, of Flanagan passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at his residence.
His funeral will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with Rev. Richard Jumper officiating.  Burial will follow in Camp Esmen Cemetery, Odell.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Lee was born April 26, 1933 in Streator, the son of Elmer Charles and Nina N. Ingram Russow.  He married Dolores Zebell on July 18, 1952 in Missouri.  She survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Robert (Blossom) Russow of Manville and Raymond (Crystal) Russow of Streator; a daughter, Kimberly (Kyle) Hoysradt of Saginaw, Texas; a brother, Richard (Geraldine) Russow of Streator; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Daniel Russow.
Lee was an original member of the Reading Volunteer Fire Department.
