OTTAWA-  Edith L. Lee 85 of Ottawa, formerly of Ransom died Saturday afternoon (August 8, 2015) at the Ottawa Pavilion.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. Timothy Koenig, officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Allen Township Cemetery, Ransom.
Mrs. Lee was born March 25, 1930 in Streator the daughter of Edward and Cora (Peck) Finger. She married Oscar J. Lee, March 4, 1956 in Streator. He preceded her in death April 19, 1988. Edith and her husband farmed in rural Ransom and she later was employed at the Ottawa Pavilion. She was a former member of the Ransom United Methodist Church. She attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1949. Edith loved to crochet and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
She is survived by three sons, Robert (Josie) Lee, Seneca, Harold Lee and Randy (Jen) Lee, both of Ottawa, four grandchildren, Jared, Erik, Caleb and Ryann Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Enid Plese.
Pallbearers will be Jared, Erik and Caleb Lee, Jim Lacke, Flip Pandolfi and Randy Petges.
Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
