Dorothy Hansen

Dorothy L. Hansen, 88 of Peoria passed away Friday morning (May 29, 2020) in Streator, Illinois.

She was born August 17, 1931 in Peoria, Illinois, a daughter of Asher R. and Cecilia (Grebner) Opdycke.  She married Mandius Hansen on February 27, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on September 9, 2016.

She is survived by three sons, John Hansen of Andover MA, Glenn Hansen of Bloomington, MN and Richard Hansen of Salt Lake City, UT; a daughter, Irene Casey of Rockledge, FL; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas; a sister, Marjorie; a granddaughter; and a great grandchild.

A private family service will be held and cremation rites accorded.  Memorials may be made to EPIC of Peoria.
